The Rainbow High series 2 Amaya doll is so beautiful and well detailed. I am an adult collector and I am very happy with the quality of these dolls. Amaya comes with beautiful rainbow hair and clothes, a second outfit and doll stand to display her.  She is a perfect addition to any collection

I'm a 30 year old adult female toy/doll collector. It took me a year to finally give in and buy one of these Rainbow High Dolls. I was trying not to like them also heard some bad things about them. I'm really into hair, I love beautiful hair. I picked this doll out as my first due to her blue hair with some rainbow high lights. I personally have dark blue hair, so thought this doll was fitting.  First off, her hair was quite hard with tons of glue in it and looked horrible. You really have to  figure out  a way to make it look "decent" and well I tried...  looks better then what it did when I took her out of box. This doll is mostly rainbow haired, I thought she would of had a ton more "blue" and just a bit of rainbow. My doll looks full on Unicorn Hair.  I have My Little Pony vibes from her. It's not a bad thing, just wasn't expecting it. 

The clothes are kinda annoying to get on. I took off one hand to help, and regretted it as it didn't want to snap back into place. Her stocking came a bit ripped, nothing horrible though. I can live with that. These doll's do have cute styles and I like the extra clothing set. The hangers are cute, as it keeps pieces together when not in use. I love the shoes. Overall she is a nice doll and I enjoy her. 

I bought wall shelves with this order, still waiting on them. Purpose of that was to add some dolls around my room. I am planning on buying more Rainbow High Doll's. Not a ton, just a few over time.

~ My First Rainbow High Doll ~

This little doll is just so pretty.   My grand daughter absolutely loved her.   The outfits were so pretty and pretty easy to get on and off.   The high heeled shoes were very difficult to get over the dolls foot so I would say there room for improvement there.   My grand daughter could not do it by herself .  Was very difficult for her mom also.   But not a game changer as my grand daughter loved it.

I bought this Amaya because she was clearanced to $15. The packaging came beat up. Not the reason for the low stars though. It seemed harder to get this doll out the box then the others unless you wanted to destroy the box. When getting the 2nd pair of socks out because of the way they were tied in it created holes in them. Luckily if you push them just right you dont see the holes. If you hate the crunchy hair you will really hate the hair on this doll. It can be brushed or boiled washed but out of the box its terrible. The shoes are a pain to get on and off. When trying to put the original shoes back on the heel fell off. Just not my favorite out of all the dolls and this one seemed to be lacking the quality the rest had. Even the cheer doll I have is better quality than this one.

Quality Control

The Doll I received was missing a heel for the second pair of shoes it came with. I don't know if there is anyway you would be able to send me a new pair.  The box was opened and the doll was already being played with, so I wouldn't  think I would be able to return it.  Other than that, the doll was how it appeared online and at a good price.

I do have some issues with this doll she is beautiful and so well made I one 4 other Rainbow High dolls and there all really good! This doll has her joint really lose to where it feels like its going to break or pop off so I am a little worried about it. Her hand also does not move up and down which i don't really mind and some of her peices can and will stain the doll. Mine could of been just defective because all my other ones all in great conditions, so i dont think they will all come like that. I have contacted MGA and hopfully I can get her replaced if not then idk what to do with her to be honest. She is really pretty and I don't regery buying her its just those issues i had with her.

Some issues...

Clothes that came with doll are really cheaply made shoes are a very thin rubber like material it's sad cause my daughter loves this doll.
Just opened her today and within a few minutes both pairs of shoes broke. Also velcro strip that holds clothes together will hardly stick to keep clothes on.

Disappointed clothes/shoes break very easily

The dolls all have crunchy hair that feels like 60 gallons of hairspray. If you brush the hair (which is VERY hard to do) the curls go away and the hair become very frizzy. The packaging is miserable to open and wastes a ton of plastic and cardboard. The clothes for strange and the shoes won't stay on. I don't recommend these and I will never buy them again.
