Needs Improvement

I purchased this train set at a great sale price or I would be more disappointed. It came with a couple of the tree tops broken off and I agree with another reviewer that it does not go up the hills well, with or without extra carts. Easily tips or dumps around the downhill curve ( I suppose depending which way you have the train go) But my grandchild still loves playing with it. The train will still run off the track as well so he doesn't mind playing or resetting it on the track and I didn't mind super-glueing some treetops to add to his enjoyment of the set. Priced right for a younger child is worth the buy.

Train too low power and broke

Came with the top tree leaves already broke off and train is not able to make the corners easily and cannot make it up the hills with new batteries.

X-Mas

This was not my first choice when I went to the toy section at Macys. I grabbed this as a gift since my nephew has an obsession for trains. I was feeling iffy about gifting it since he was more into actual locomotives or Thomas. I figured as a Santa gift this may work. Christmas morning comes and he was surprisingly shocked at it, he wanted more of the Chuggington trains to go with so this was a good ice breaker.
