My 5 year old loves this track. It was simple to assemble even though it's several pieces.

Hot wheels track

Bought it as a Christmas gift for my 5-year-old %26 he absolutely loves it! It does require 4 D-size batteries, though, so make sure you purchase them with it. Other than that, it's great!

Love it!

This is by far the best track we've purchased (we have five total) it's exciting and motorized my son absolutely loves it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys got this for Christmas last year and love it, but after they decided to take it apart and put it back together the metal tab is missing to connect the tracks. Does anyone know where I can buy more?

Great but lost a metal piece to connect the track

I got this for my one yr old, let me tell you he absolutely loves it. This first few days he was reluctant to play with it when the motor is on because the cars go so fast around the track.
I gave it three stars because a piece came broken and luckily it was a piece that goes to the bottom ramp and was able to leave off.

Kid is in love

My daughter got this for Christmas and it's a hit except for one thing. It's been said before but bears repeating. The only car that works is the one that came with. We bought other 1:64 sports cars to go with and they won't work. Specifically I bought the Fast & Furious Set. Even the Supra won't work right. At best it will work 2-3 times and then it gets flipped off the launch. 

Gotta be honest, the looks of the car that came with make me think the designers ran into this same issue in development and came up with a car specially made to work every time. It's slightly wider than other cars, definitely flatter front to back, the balance/weight is very centralized, and it's slightly lighter than other cars. 

That's a lot of “coincidental” things that go into this car working every time. Just seems suspicious when you actually look at all of it together. Like others have said though. I would settle for a list of others cars that are guaranteed to work. If not, I would like a refund for a product that does not work as advertised or suggested.

Great potential, poor execution.

The track was hard to put together because of very poor labeling. No way could a young child put this together. I had to look at the picture on the box and stop using the instructions to build the track.
Works great with “ONLY” the HotWheels car that came with the track. Tried a hundred cars that he already had and only one more Hot wheels car worked on the track.

here we are.  less than a wk after Christmas. the track caused a wheel on the car it came with to bend a little and now the car won't go around the track..
aside from that- only a certain type of car will work. we gave found one other car in our son's collection of 75 cars that will go around the track.

a waste of money

very disappointed that after building my son being so excited that only 2 or 3 hot wheels cars work out of the 50-75 we have already. What's the point of making a hot wheel track where only a select few cars work on it. I wish I could return it.
