This contains Stannous Fluoride which is very good for your teeth and gums. Stannous Fluoride protects against sensitivity, gingivitis, plaque and kills germs. The funny taste is from the fluoride, which can also stain. This toothpaste has whiteners to preven this. As for the grittiness, it&#39;s extra hydrated silica to aid in the prevention of staining. All with good intentions. If it lingers on your teeth for a while after brushing, again all good. I like the taste as well.

This is the first toothpaste that doesn't irritate my mouth, I am glad that I tried this particular version of Crest. The 3 pack will last me for a good while.

Happy I Selected This Product

I have used this toothpaste for many years.  I love the flavor! It's different from the other peppermint flavors.  Just because we're adults doesn't mean we don't like a variety.  I have had a very hard time finding it in stores during this paste year though, and now I'm half way through my last tube.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for a new toothpaste ever since I quit drinking coffee a few months ago. Crest Pro-Health Advanced Whitening Power Toothpaste has already helped my teeth recover from the coffee stains and lighten up for a much better smile! 

The taste and texture of this toothpaste are on point; there's no sandy, gritty feeling while brushing using this toothpaste and the taste is pleasant which results in a very minty breath. 

I am confident in this product since it has helped me greatly in this short period of time. I look forward to my results when I finish this tube and I know I will be buying more.

A little bit goes a long way

The products were fine, but the package was left in front of my garage, not on my front porch as requested. Doorbell not buzzed so I didn't find this package until the next day when a friend came to visit and saw it in the driveway.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried Crest ProHealth for about a week now.  To be honest, I don't think it's a tooth paste for me.  There is something slightly off with the flavor.  It almost has a medicated taste to it, maybe it's baking soda?  I really don't like the gritty texture either.  Maybe there is some sort of benefit to it but I don't like it. After I am all done brushing I am still crunching on whatever it is in the the toothpaste. I've always liked a toothpaste that gives me a mouth full of bubbles and a real fresh feeling after I am done and I don't get that from Crest ProHealth Advanced.   I will continue to use it as I hope to see some whitening of my teeth but I would not buy it again.

How bad could toothpaste be?  Bad enough to write this review.  This toothpaste doesn't spread, so half of it comes out of my mouth in a perfect little pearl after brushing for over a minute.  What a waste!   I say this as a Crest fan (but not this product).

Terrible toothpaste -- try something else.

Worst packaging I have ever seen! Have used Crest for years and this particular one was gross! Cover wouldn&#39;t go back on it and the toothpaste went all over the bathroom drawer. I ended up throwing it away. It was the 5.1 oz. tube; Pro-Health whitening power.
