For summer keeps your lips soft, smooth and NOT greasy.  In winter keeps my lips from cracking,  chaping, and drying out. I HAVE to have this year round.  Unlike lipstick, it does not rub off or smear.  You can use it under your lipstick, or alone.

I try other brands and solid chap sticks. I keep going back to Blistex Ointment. The only thing that will cure my dry lips but also keep them chapped free.

Best stuff ever!

If you are somewhere w harsh weather conditions especially winds, you know that Chapstick tm is not enough alone. This absorbs into the cracks and softens your lips. I put Blistex stick or Chapstick over it to seal in the moisture.

A MUST IN THE DESERT

I have used this for more than 30 years. I have super chapped lips year round and this is the ONLY thing that works. I always keep a tube in my purse, one on my desk, one in the living room, one in the bathroom, one on my nightstand, one in my car. It is not greasy/thick like regular chapstick and also helps with the pain from cracked lips. Also a LIFESAVER when I have a bad cold and my nose gets sore and chapped—a liberal application of this takes care of the pain and heals the skin. If they ever discontinue this I don't know what I will do because it is a year round necessity for me.

Best ever lip balm, no comparison

I put on blistex at night and in the morning and no more dry lips. During the day I use the regular teal stick. Better than any other lip product for dry lips.

My lips were sore and chapped and nothing I used would heal them.  I tried the Blistex ointment and in two days they were better and it didn't take very long until they were healed.

I love this product. I can't lie I used to be a die hard carmex girl but this here is definitely top tier and it's Bette especially for the in the winter for those who suffer from extra crispy lips

This is the best way to restore moisture to the lips. I was on Acutane years ago and it was the only treatment that worked. Nothing with wax or petroleum.

I only ordered four

I used it for about a week to ease the pain and heal my cold sore. The 2 pack was at a good price so that I have an extra one on hand if I need it again.

Really helps

I was disappointed to discovered this balm was more of a cream form than an ointment. Has a weird smell and overall not what I needed.
