[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Disney Pixar Cars Radiator Springs Mountain Race Playset was super fun for my daughters (6, 12, & 13) & nieces (5 yo twins).  My older girls were surprisingly engaged, my oldest said it brought back memories of seeing the first Cars movie when she was little. This set has moved all over the house and yard for a variety of playtime scenes.  A wonderful set, which we highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed is that the box is easy to open, following the perforations, but it results in that box being destroyed, so you can't use it for future storage. Parents should be aware that this set may be meant to be left out fully assembled, which takes up space. (not good or bad, just something to note!). I let my 8 year old try to assemble it himself, following the pictures, and he was able to put it together, but needed a little bit of help making sure the pieces fit together correctly and went in the right place (kids don't always read the directions). We discovered that he had missed a column structure piece on the side of the red track, when one car kept winning every time. We finally figured out that the red track was sagging a bit, and found the hidden piece in the box. It's important to make sure it's assembled correctly, or this can happen! 

Once the set was fully assembled, the kids enjoyed racing each other and seeing how the results might vary every time. They had fun experimenting with different types of cars and switching their starting positions to see if it made a difference (this is a good opportunity to learn about physics, too!). The set is colorful and detailed, and it kept their attention. Kids who enjoy racing their cars will like this toy!

Fun for Playtime, may need help building

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing that stood out to me was how this was packaged. I've never had any sets like this that the back of the box tears open so you don't have to dump everything on the floor, so major points for that! It was very easy to organize the pieces and put together. My 8 year old is autistic and loves to take things like this apart, but I've been able to easily put it back together without the instructions. I like the fact it came with two cars. The only issue we've run into is that the cars keep getting stuck on the inside. I'm not sure if maybe I put the moving parts on wrong when I put it together the first time, but it happens about 3/4 of the time. It's not difficult to reach in and fix the situation, and my kids have been fine with it so it's not a dealbreaker. Overall, this has gotten steady use over the last couple weeks and has held up well so far.

Nice play set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cars toy is fun fairly easy to put together. I wish that it would connect to some other disney cars tracks my son has. It would be more enticing if Flo's Cafe would light up as the cars finish the race.

A fun cars toy

I love the simplicity of the track. Only issue I have is that track doesn't accommodate other cars besides the ones that come with the track. The other cars will eventually go down but not fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son who loves the Cars movies was very excited when this arrived.   It comes in a lot of pieces to assemble but the instructions were easy to follow and it didn't take long to setup.   Once setup and stickers put on, it was ready to go and my son has been having a great time racing the Jackson Storm and McQueen cars that is included.  It is a good size as it is big enough to make it fun and exciting for the child, but not too big that it becomes awkward or an eyesore in the living room.   The only downside worth mentioning is that the other 1:55 size Car movie cars we have don't work that well with this track.  I think it is because those are a little heavier than the 2 cars you get with the track.   That being said, the other type of lighter cars my son has do work ok.

Good size track for fun races

Beware of the promotional reviews. I have a little cars fan and I thought he would love it but its really disappointing for two reasons. 1 the cars go super slow, its not racing so much as cruising.  2. i was hoping to be able to use this with our die cast cars since they are too wide for other tracks. this track really only works with the 2 cars it comes with which are plastic.  the price was good but overall a bummer. we got bored with this pretty quickly.

kinda disappointed

Honestly, it's really flimsy and falls apart after every use so I'm having to reconnect it in order for my kids to use. Just seems very cheaply made. We already have had 2 pieces broken and we just purchased it less than a month ago. I don't recommend.

Not worth it

I ordered this on behalf of my Mother In Law for my son to open on Christmas. However after almost 25 days there was still no package or updates. The messed up part is that the last place it was scanned was a couple towns over.

Not recommended

Thought this was gonna be an awesome addition to the kids Car's movie toys collection.  But was disappointed by the design of this race trac.  Toy has 2 moving levers that can stop cars as they go down track.  Problem is they prohibit both cars from continuing down track.  They are just in the way.  They don't enhance play experience they hamper it.  Really dumb...useless design.  Only thing they do is cause kids to fight.   Please redesign trac and remove these 2 levers from track.
