Brewed this is quite a rich, deep flavored coffee that tastes way better than it smells. Very nice. 

From the moment you open the bag, till you take the final sip in your cup, the aroma is fresh. It isn't like other production coffees that only have a high price tag, on regular beans this is a nice coffee.

I use ADC, as you can see from the pictures the grind is a good size for production coffee. Each pot is good. Each cup is like the previous cup, as it should be. Whether you enjoy your coffee black (as I do), or with cream &/or sugar, warm, hot or iced; this is a very delightful coffee.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that it has chocolate or cocoa notes, as described, or maybe my bag went flat, but it certainly is rich & silky smooth. Each cup tastes the same, from the top of the bag, to the bottom of it. I have had some coffee that wasn't consistent & was a bit different or not blended as well as could be, not so with this coffee.

Single brew or multiple cups doesn't matter, each cup is delicious & a pleasure to drink or serve. I don't change from the coffees that I drink, but I may change to this one.

A very smooth black gold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is hands down the best flavor! The aroma when I was making this filled the whole house.  I will definitely be looking for this in a kcup but using the carafe was a pleasant experience! Just the right amount of flavor and caffeine for sure!!

 I drink it black. No sugar or cream.
 I like the taste of it...the aroma...the caffeine (ahem)...
 Being a member of the Walmart Sparks Program, I had the opportunity to review "Folgers 1850 Black Gold, Dark Roast Coffee." 
 Without hesitation, as soon as I sipped this brew, I knew I had just sipped one of the richest tasting coffees I had ever sipped.
 Made from 100% Arabica beans, this coffee has a bold, yet smooth taste. It has a hint of dark chocolate mixed in. 
 If you enjoy a great tasting coffee, this is for you. It actually TASTES like coffee...
 Folgers is famous for making coffee which it bills as "The Richest Kind." They continue to honor that statement with the "1850" line of brews.
