For some reason I thought this toy was going to be smaller than it is. But it fits perfectly in my one year old's hands. It's not too big or too small. It's perfect. To wind it, you just wind the arms backwards until you feel the tension, then you let go and away it goes! My daughter squeals with delight every time she sees it swimming on its own. It's super cute and good value for the price.

This little guy swims quite well. You need to wind it up a fair bit to get it to actually swim anywhere. There are hole in it for draining the water it takes on board which you need to drain after each wind up, otherwise it ends up being like the Titanic and looks like its about to sink. It doesn't paddle so far when its full of water so need to drain it.

My son enjoys playing with it in the swimming pool. just need to make sure all the water is drained before putting it away so it doesn't get any mould build up.

Got this for the grandkids to have races in the pool, but while it is cute as can be, it's really pretty slow.

It takes on water, and just isn't strong enough to go very far, once you release it. Mostly, it just spins around and splashes a bit. Good for babies, but not so much for the kids who would be strong enough to wind it themselves.

My youngest (4) is able to wind it herself. She did think it was cute, and loved it at first sight, but once she realized it wasn't going to go very far, she lost interest pretty quickly.

I'd gotten two, and both kids wanted to love them, but the same fate for both. They did stand up to the dropping onto the cement, once they got the boot from the pool, though, and I was concerned they'd break, as little care was taken in the removal process.

Pros:
It's a heavy duty, smooth plastic, with solid construction.
The flapping works well enough, & even little ones can work it, after you show them.

Cons:
As it takes on water, it can't combat the weight - and it takes on water pretty quickly.

Excelente juguete para la hora del baño. La mayoria de los juguetes con "movimiento" necesitan baterias, pero este no es uno de ellos. Ha gustado mucho a mi hijo de 6 años y a mi hija de 15 meses. Lo unico que hay que hacer es girar los brazos del pinguino y ponerlo en el agua para que nade. El material se ve resistente ya que ha sufrido alguna que otra caida de la bañera y no se ha roto. El tamaño tambien esta muy bien, ni muy grande ni muy pequeño. Creo que este tambien podria usarse para que los pequeños jueguen en la alberca.

Lo recomiendo para niños que ya se sientan pues asi pueden observar los movimientos. El pingüino no trae envoltura, solo una liga alrededor del cuello con una etiqueta, lo cual me sorprendio al inicio, sin embargo si el juguete es sencillo no necesita tanta envoltura o indicaciones, tal vez solo proteccion pues se podría romper en el viaje.
