I've watched this product for over a year now and finally decided to just get it so I can get rid of the one's that are taking up all my storage space. I'm really glad that I did.
To start, it has a very thick and strong coating of silicone over the whisks. It held up to the scissors when I clumsily nicked the whisk cutting off the tag. No cuts in the whisk, thankfully!
When manipulated into a fullsized whisk, it snaps right into place without difficulty and it STAYS that way until I twist it back to being flat. And it actually flattens back out instead of staying half opened like some.
I like the color, and sturdiness of this whisk a lot.
