I tried this with my niece she is 7. And i think its a good toy for 5 and up. It has very small parts that look cute but are not for toddlers. 

The package is georgus... a tiny fairy in an colofull egg... i wish you could still use the egg to keep it. 
It comes with a small round flat base to put your fairy or doll, if not it doesnt stand by itself.

The fairy is were cute it has a stretch wings and sparkly hair. See photos.

Good for 5 and up

My three year old has been asking for one every time we’re at Walmart. It says for five year olds and up so I was concerned if it would be too small for her but it was the perfect size. She does have a one year old sister who I keep the small extra pieces away from but the actual doll itself would be fine for even her to hold.

My older four year old boy loved helping crush the egg to open it so it ended up being a full family toy which is a win win for me. My daughter loves the glittery doll hair and the little stand that the egg turns into to (see photo below). The whole mystery of what you are going to get as a doll and then the separate packet of the additional accessories (she got a glitter star coffee mug) is the coolest thing to kids 2-7. This would be a perfect stocking stuffer too! Great size and wonderful quality!

Perfect for a Little Girl

My girls love Hatchimals! They can’t wait to crack the egg and be surprised. They love being surprised. The egg is so pretty that I wouldn’t want to break it but that’s the whole point for them. They love the feeling of breaking something to find out what’s inside. They loved their surprise Pixie. The doll is too cute and small with its little shoes that are removable. It also comes with a head band, ice cream cone and bed. They love collecting all the ones on the picture book that comes included. The wings are gummy like and can be stretched or pulled but not removed. I love the detail of the pixie doll. The accessories and colors all coordinate with the style of the doll. My girls love to carry these sets of toys in their purses or mini backpacks everywhere we go. They are great traveling toys. This makes a great gift for Christmas stockings and for birthdays. I highly recommend this toy.

So cute!

This review is for the “Hatchimals Pixies, 2.5-Inch Collectible Doll and Accessories. My daughter really loves Hatchimals and loves pixies so I thought “can’t go wrong with this toy!” She was so excited to care for the egg for a couple of days before deciding to open it. The egg was so sparkly and colorful with a cute little purple heart right on front. I feel like she was a little sad at the thought of breaking the egg but she knew something was inside. This little doll is Glittering Garden. She came with a tea cup, tea pot, a bed, a plastic stand to help her stay upright and a tiara. Be careful and make sure you get all the accessories out of the packaging before throwing everything away. The tiara was the same color as the packaging and it was initially thrown away by my daughter. The little wings on the back of the pixie are made of a silicone like substance which is awesome because it makes the wings “bounce” around like they are fluttering. You are able to save the bottom part of the egg after hatching it so it can hold all the accessories for your doll. All in all, this toy is pretty cute!

Cute and sparkly!

This is adorable. Fun to open. I think my daughter like the cracking of the egg as the best part. She immediately started to play with it with her other toys. This pixie came with accessories of boots, crown , and some sort of ice cream to hold on her hand. The egg became the bed. It’s quite the cute little toy with everything you need to play with just the one package. I would say age range would be best for 5-7 yrs. anything older would get bored fast. Anything younger there are choking hazards. Another fun part is seeing which pixie you get and checking out the guide to see what the other are and which one you want to try for next. Great marketing. Everyone loves a surprise and a gamble for what you get. However I will say. Now that a few days have gone by. It’s just part of the other hatchimal toys on her shelf. She will go back to it again but the novelty of any new toy is the first day. I will say the coloring and detail of this toy is spot on. Very colorful and sparkly. Eye catching. Overall we are happy. And it’s perfect size.

The following is a review for the Hatchimals Pixies, 2.5-Inch Collectible Doll and Accessories (Styles May Vary), for Kids Aged 5 and Up. This is one of the cutest little things that I have seen in a awhile. It is a little surprise egg. This is a toy and couple of accessories that come in a little package that is shaped like an egg. The kids are crazy about these things nowadays. This particular one is a Hatchimal. Inside this particular Hatchimal is a pixie. Pixies are kind of like fairies. She comes with her own little bed that she sits on. Because she comes from the winter area of the pixie world her accessories are fuzzy earmuffs, skates, and a cup of coca covered in marshmallows. You open the egg by pressing on it and essentially breaking it like an egg. My daughter was absolutely thrilled to receive this. She instantly knew what it was and opened it quickly. The pixies’ name according to the paper is Polar Pipper. It has what her likes, loves, and what makes her smile on the paper. While she is incredibly tiny, my daughter has big fun with her. I can see purchasing more of these in the future, because like any little girl she wants to have them all.

Cute toys for little girls

I have 3 little girls. They were very happy to receive this Hatchimals Pixie Doll. They played with the egg until it started cracking. They said you have to keep rubbing the heart in the middle...lol... When it cracked, a beautiful pixie doll was inside. I think her name was Whitney. 1 of my daughters wasn’t happy because she wanted to see a different pixie doll inside. Now I’m going to have to buy more. Whitney also had a tiara, a little mug and fairy wings.

Super Cute!

My four year old likes playing with this toy. It was fun hatching the egg and seeing what is inside. The accessories are small and will probably be lost soon but it's a cute set.

Hatchimals are made by Spin Master. These Pixies are just like the other Hatchimals in that you rub the heart until it changes colors and then you can break the egg. Because these contain dolls the eggs are bigger than the little collector size eggs.

There is an excitement in opening a mystery toy. Not knowing what one you will get and hoping for certain ones. My child immediately was telling me which ones she hopes she doesn't get and the ones she hopes she does get. Thankfully we were not disappointed and received one of the ones she wanted.

Some of thing things my child loved were, the wings move. The doll is a harder plastic and the wings are like a jelly. So when you touch the wings they appear to flutter for a bit. This is a great feature for playing and able to make the doll really appear to fly. Because they are jelly like they have a lot of give and I don't think will break easily. I think you would have to really pull on it to break it off. The accessories are fun. There is a little chest filled with something blue....I have no idea what it is supposed to be, but cute. There is a tiara and a drink.

What my child was most upset about was she could not change the clothes. Changing clothes is so huge for her and this was disappointing. The rest of the Pixie was great and so far several hours of playing with it.

Cute, but no outfit change

So sparkly and cute! We hatched Wishing Star Whitney and she came with the bed, a headband, a 'root-beer float' (according to my niece) and what appears to be a guitar. My niece was hoping more for Willow because she has pink wings, so we'll try again. I didn't realize how tiny they were. The accessory parts are small, so keep those parts away from younger siblings or other toddlers, and avoid picking the pixie up by the wings. The wings are a gel material. So cute, they really do make you want to collect them all.
